Olympic and Paralympic Games 2024


The annual forum “Terre de Jeux 2024” will take place on December 15, 2021 in Strasbourg.

This meeting will be an opportunity to look back on the experiences of this summer in Tokyo, but also to highlight the many upcoming projects that will involve the cities and their residents.
The Organizing Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris 2024, chaired by three-time Olympic champion Tony Estanguet, has chosen Strasbourg to organize the annual “Terre de Jeux 2024” forum. Originally planned for October 21, it will finally take place on December 15 from 10.30 a.m to 12.30 p.m in the "La Rotonde" sports complex, the equipments of which are labeled “Preparatory Centers for the Olympic Games”.
"We are very pleased to organize the 2nd annual forum 'Terre de Jeux 2024" in Strasbourg. This region with 10 departments and more than 168 labelled municipalities is one of the driving forces in the Paris 2024 dynamic across France. The day will bring together the sporting leaders and local authorities involved in promoting sport and the games and will also be a stage in the Flag Tour, ” declares Tony Estanguet, President of Paris 2024.

Jeanne Barseghian, Mayor of Strasbourg and Pia Imbs, President of the Eurometropole Strasbourg are both pleased to welcome the organization of this event in Strasbourg in view of the great civic values that the Olympic and Paralympic Games convey. 

"This event will also be an opportunity for the students from schools labeled "Generation 2024", to meet Tony Estanguet and the delegation of Terre de Jeux 2024 " specifies Jeanne Barseghian, mayor of Strasbourg.
