Rohrschollen Island Nature Reserve

A haven for nature on the edge of the city, the Rohrschollen Island Nature Reserve is of exceptional ecological wealth with the jewel in the crown being its alluvial forest.

One of the missions of Réserves Naturelles de France is to introduce the public to protected environments and species because they are rare or endangered. Therefore, the City of Strasbourg, which manages the Rohrschollen Island Nature Reserve, invites the public to come on guided tours to discover this island and specifically the Rhine environment. The site has also been developed to allow walkers to discover the ecological wealth of the island for themselves while abiding by the regulations specific to this protected space.
