Discover the two exhibitions organized in Strasbourg on the occasion of this rotating presidency

On 1 January 2022, for the first time in 14 years, France has taken over the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. and this for until June 30.

A total of nearly 400 events planned in France and the EU will punctuate the Presidency : political meetings, a cultural programme and citizen events open to everyone.
Strasbourg, capital of Europe, is the French city after Paris where most of the events organized on occasion of this rotating presidency will take place, (political meetings, a cultural programme and citizen events open to everyone) .

Two exhibitions 

Place Kléber 

On the occasion of this presidency, the City of Strasbourg is organizing the exhibition "What is Europe doing ?", which can be visited on Place Kléber from January 12 to February 2, 2022. Through concrete examples, this exhibition highlights some of the key decisions taken by the European Union.  It presents also the challenges of this presidency and the place that Strasbourg, as European capital, will play in the coming months.

 

Place du Château 

Another exhibition, on loan from the European Council in Brussels will make you discover the role of the European institutions and the Member States of the European Union in an attractive and educational way from January 17 to June 10, 2022.
