Car parking: residential parking

The residential parking system enables residents to park their cars at a preferential rate on paid-parking streets.

Only individuals who live in paid-parking zone and who can provide proof that they reside in this zone can benefit from residential parking rates. These rates only apply to the zone in which the resident lives.

Association commitment

La Maison des Associations de Strasbourg (MDAS) is an umbrella organization for the vast majority of associations in Strasbourg working in numerous fields: social, humanitarian, culture, sport, education, the environment, etc. Check out the associations directory on the MDAS website for more information (in French).

Useful info

The City of Strasbourg and the Strasbourg Eurometropolis (33 communes) are two separate authorities but they brought all their administrative services together in the Administrative Center at the address: 1 Parc de l'Étoile.

The Hôtel de Ville located Place Broglie, does not receive the public for administrative formalities. It is used for official ceremonies and weddings. The public can go to the neighborhood town hall located nearby.

Some legal or regulatory provisions are subject to local Alsace-Moselle law and are therefore different from the rest of France. For more information, go to the website of the Institut du Droit Local Alsacien-Mosellan (in French).

Under local law, Good Friday and the 26 December are holidays in Strasbourg and Alsace.
